Baroness Tessa Jowell recently spoke in the House of Lords about her diagnosis of a brain tumour. “On 24 May last year, I got into a taxi but couldn’t speak. I had two powerful seizures. I was taken to hospital. Two days later, I was told that I had a brain tumour, glioblastoma multiforme.” Her treatment began shortly afterwards. The Centre is excellent. When you walk through the doors you can feel the calm and everyone always has a smile. From the bottom of my heart thank you to each and every one of you.
As soon as you walk into the Centre you can feel the calming and peaceful atmosphere. Everyone was very helpful, compassionate and supportive and I felt that I could have approached any of the staff for help or advice.
